Pottenger's Cats

Dr. Pottenger was a pediatrician who lived and worked on a sanitarium in California where he studied those affected by Tuberculosis (TB). He was a research scientist who started studying cats, to find if there was a correlation with defective adrenals, and the effect of diet on their functioning.  Pottenger had a hypothesis that defective adrenals were affecting patients with TB and their ability to recover. He stumbled upon the findings that the cats who ate raw meat were healthier, more vital and lived longer, compared to the cats who ate cooked meat, despite the absence of adrenals. Dr. Pottenger then focused his studies to see if cooked food decreased the nutrient contents and therefore the vitality and health of the cats. His findings were remarkable. He compared groups of cats that ate either raw meat or cooked meat, and groups that consumed either raw milk or some form of processed milk. He found that the cats who ate raw meat and those who consumed raw milk were very similar, demonstrating superior quality of optimal health. The cats who consumed cooked meat or processed milk (pasteurized, evaporated,  or sweetened condensed milk) showed signs of decreased coordination, anxiety, arthritis, tooth decay, underdeveloped bone structures, particularly in the skull and jaw, lack of luster and playfulness , low sex drive and difficulty reproducing.  Worsening signs and symptoms were found in in the second and third generations of cats who ate this way.  These cats were able to return to optimal health, like the cats who continued to eat raw meat and milk, however it took 4 generations for this process to be reversed. Are we Pottenger's cats?

I saw a 67 year old female patient the other day who has been on arthritis medication since she was 27 years old, the same year she had to get dentures. We are now living in a time where are children are not healthier than their parents. Let's start reversing this process today, for ourselves, our children and grandchildren. Eat real foods that are of high quality.
