I have advanced training in treating patients with low back and sacroiliac (SI) joint, chronic pain, pelvic health, digestive issues and headaches. I have had training in several treatment modalities, including trigger point release techniques, dry needling (through Myopain Seminars), and instrument-augmented soft tissue release.
More about me
As I learned more about nutrition and experimented on myself, I realized what I was eating was making my hands sore and swollen in the mornings. As I ate better, I felt better and realized I didn’t know how bad I had felt. As I worked with patients rehabilitating their shoulder, neck, back, and ankle pains, I started to understand that some of us would never feel better without nutritional support. As a Physical Therapist with little nutrition education, I knew I needed a credible certification to provide nutritional support to the people I work with. And I didn’t stop there.
It’s hard getting your s#*! Together and keeping it together. I can’t help with that; I struggle with my own stuff. But I can help prioritize what to focus on to get you going in the right direction and make a more significant impact. You will be motivated when you notice yourself feeling less crappy and eventually good. I always joked, “ I have a lot of potential….to look good, feel good, have more energy, get more done, etc.” But I’m learning that those jokes are a waste of time. Focusing on what can get done within my barriers is more gratifying. I will always be part cynical and part realistic.
